Since our establishment in 2021, CCRCG has been taking various actions. Our actions include collaborating with the Hong Kong Public Opinion Research Institute to conduct a research survey on the impact of climate change on Hong Kong citizens. In the high-risk heatwave area of Sham Shui Po, we have advocated with relevant government departments and the District Council and proposed various plans to reduce the impact of heatwaves on residents. In addition, we have also collaborated and exchanged ideas with other local community organizations to explore strategies and instant solutions for addressing climate change especially extreme heat.
